Audra told me I should Post It

So i shall! Here's a poem i wrote a few days ago...hope you enjoy every second of it. Just so you know, it's way better outloud...I'm sorry some of the words don't rhyme =/ I'm officially my own pet peeve.


If I could play guitar,
I'd write a song for you.
But I guess for right now,
These words will have to do.

My mind is going crayzee,
Emotions are on edge.
If you looked in my eyes,
You'd see I'm on the ledge.

I don't want you for her,
But I don't want you for me.
I just want you to say
You'll read to me in a tree.

It also wouldn't hurt
To hear a few more words.
When I hug you say,
"If you're a bird, I'm a bird."

Dance in the rain with me,
Sing a silly song.
Maybe watch some Hepburn
And talk all night long.

Argue and debate me
When Georgia's burns down.
Tell me you'll be there
When there's no one else around.

Protect me from scary things
Like moths and demon cats,
And don't be ashamed
When I wear my crayzee hats.

Dancing in the Moonlight
Is for sure a MUST DO!
That's what I have planned
Just for me and you.

Don't kiss me, but distract me.
Don't hold me, but be there.
No need to say you love me,
But only that you care.

We'll make silly faces
At the people passing by.
You won't be scared to hold me
If and when I cry.

My glasses are a part of me.
You know this through and through.
And I'll just go crayzee
When I try them on you.

Secrets are a given,
And inside jokes are too.
I'll never have to wonder
If what you say is true.

So this is my big plan.
No marshmallows, no ships.
Just you, me, a movie,
Some popcorn, and some chips.

I can't do this on my own,
I just might need your hand.
In my world this would work...
But my world's a Wonderland.

So, who knows?
